Cherwell Housing Trust: Simon House Hostel
Workshop equipment: A purpose-built workshop provides the opportunity to learn skills associated with the construction industry (with a view to doing a NVQ or an apprenticeship), and also basic skills (e.g. changing a tap/light bulb) that will be useful for independent living. Simon House is a 52-bed hostel in the city centre that is currently undergoing major refurbishment.

Elmore Team
Welfare fund: Elmore Team provide an outreach service that helps homeless and vulnerable people to manage their lives and connect them with agencies such as welfare, housing, solicitors etc. They work with 100-120 clients at any one time.

English Churches Housing Group 
Learning Zone: Offers on-line learning and training in IT skills at Lucy Faithful House - it forms the hub of a virtual Oxford Homeless College, which will offer on-line learning through nine partner agencies from the Homeless Network across Oxford. Lucy Faithful House is a 67-bed hostel which provides accommodation and support for homeless men and women aged 18-65. The hostel also runs Alcohol and Drug Recovery Programmes.

Gatehouse
Support staff: The Gatehouse is a cafe for homeless people aged over 25, open 5-7pm weekdays, 3-5pm Sundays. Food is often donated, and most of the people serving in the cafe are volunteers.

Activities worker at O'Hanlon House: The charity provide direct access and resettlement accommodation in O'Hanlon House, and also supported half-way housing for 66 ex-homeless people in 12 houses across Oxford through Julian Housing.

The Gap (managed by The Bridge)
Activity Programme: Includes IT skills and careers information, creative arts activities and sports and recreation e.g. fitness, dance, fishing and gardening. The Gap Project is a day service mainly for 16-25 year olds who are homeless, vulnerable or in need of support. The Gap offers a cooked breakfast and lunch, shower and laundry facilities.

The Porch (Steppin Stone Centre)
Day centre running costs: Based in Cowley the centre provides low-cost meals and laundry facilities, IT facilities, some complementary therapies, cooking classes and an allotment project which supplies the kitchen. The whole ethos is a shift away from dependency towards independent living and social inclusion.
