Emmaus, Glasgow
Wood chipper and blower to convert wood destined for landfill into energy: Emmaus Glasgow is the newest community. They have incorporated several green technologies in the building design, such as sunpipes, solar water heaters and a wood chip boiler. The latter provides the central heating for the community.
