Quintessentially Joins StreetSmart in Soho 01.09.09
The Quintessentially Foundation was established in 2008 as the charitable arm of Quintessentially, the world's leading luxury lifestyle group. Forged by a series of successful fundraising initiatives, the Foundation supports charitable activity focused on improving the lives of disadvantaged local communities through medical care, emotional development and social opportunity.For the past 9 years, Quintessentially's home has been in Soho - also the birthplace and home of StreetSmart and both are extremely proud of their Soho roots. The area is vibrant and full of life, but amongst the fine dining and drinking establishments, Soho faces some severe social problems not least of which is the homeless situation.
The knowledge and influence of both Quintessentially and StreetSmart in the Soho area will significantly boost the fundraising potential amongst local restaurants and diners. All donations from diners in Soho establishments during November and December 2009 will be used to support The House of St Barnabas, a charity on Greek Street in the heart of Soho, which has been dedicated to helping the homeless for over 160 years.
