StreetSmart Raise £435,000 for the Homeless 01.05.09
Despite the recent economic downturn, StreetSmart proves that people are still dining out, and that diners are still more than willing to be generous when they know their money is being put to good use.The £1 per table campaign, raised an outstanding £435,000 in November and December 2008. As all administration costs are covered by StreetSmart's generous sponsor, Deutsche Bank, every single penny of the money raised was used to fund 95 different projects for the homeless.
Fergus Henderson and his team at St John, who have supported StreetSmart for over 10 years, created this amazing chocolate cake in celebration of StreetSmart's success.
