As well as access to showers, laundry and clean clothing, the Centre runs a canteen which serves over 300 hot, nutritious meals each week. | The Passage The Passage run a day centre next to Victoria Station which is used by up to 200 people a day. | Camden & City Churches Cold Weather Shelter (C4WS) C4WS is a church based 'rolling shelter' that provides emergency accommodation to street homeless. The project runs between 1 January and 31 March each year, and has a capacity of 14 beds. 6 Camden churches and 1 City church provide overnight shelter 1 night a week, and each venue is manned by 20-30 volunteers. | Ace of Clubs Ace of Clubs in Clapham is open 365 days a year and offers a shower, change of clothes and a hot meal to an average of 50 homeless and vulnerable people every day. Practical help and advice, including medical care, is also available. | Margins Homelessness Project The Margins project runs from the Union Chapel in Islington and offers day centre faciliities every Sunday for 150 homeless and vulnerable people. They have also launched a é, which is open on a daily basis providing refreshments for people who hire the Union Chapel facilities. The café is run by volunteers from the Sunday drop-in, who receive training. A StreetSmart grant will be used to expand the café project with extended opening hours during evening concerts. | North London Action for the Homeless (NLAH) NLAH provides a range of services for homeless and socially excluded people, mainly from the London Borough of Hackney. They operate twice a week from a Church Hall in Stoke Newington. On average 80 people a week take advantage of a hot meal, a welfare, housing and advice service, a clothing store, haircuts and showers, literacy and numeracy classes. | Spires Spires is the only day centre in the London borough of Lambeth offering services for homeless and disadvantaged people. They are open 363 days a year for basic services - day-time shelter, hot lunch, clothing and companionship. Services focused on longer-term solutions include housing and benefits advice, mental health support, resettlement, primary healthcare clinics, drug and alcohol support and work with vulnerable women. | Oasis Oasis Trust delivers education, housing and healthcare to vulnerable young people. One of the Trust's project is Oasis Housing at No 3 - a sheltered hostel for 14 homeless young women aged 16-25 in Peckham. The hostel has been in operation for 16 years and, in this time, has helped over 240 young women to turn their lives around. During their stay, all residents are encouraged to pursue educational courses, life skills training and, where applicable, are helped to find employment.
