| Edinburgh Women's Aid Edinburgh Women's Aid has been in operation for over 30 years providing a service to women, and any accompanying children / young people who have experienced domestic abuse. A new purpose built refuge comprises of 8 individual flats plus a communal social and kitchen / dining area together with office space. This development will have 24 hours support from EWA staff and will provide refuge facilities for enable women who, for whatever reason are, would not be able to cope in the shared environment.
