With the support of The South Wales Echo as StreetSmart’s media partner in Cardiff, the charity is establishing its campaign in Wales for the first time in 2005.  This vibrant city, the capital of a proud nation famed for being as strong in arm as it is in voice, is also the dwelling place of many weak and vulnerable people, homeless through no fault of their own.  Through the StreetSmart restaurant campaign, you can help these people to regain their strength of spirit and rebuild their lives.  “I am weak but though art mighty, hold me in thy powerful hand”.

South Wales Echo.

StreetSmart is delighted that The South Wales Echo has agreed to become the charity's media partner in Cardiff. The South Wales Echo has pledged to support StreetSmart's campaign by highlighting participating restaurants and encouraging its readers to back the scheme by choosing to dine out at a StreetSmart restaurant in Cardiff this winter. Throughout the festive season the Echo will be enabling StreetSmart to raise awareness of it's campaign to help the homeless in Cardiff.
