StreetSmart started in London, and spurred by the scheme's success, expanded into cities across the country. Our criteria were obvious – high levels of homelessness and an active restaurant life. In 2006, 550 restaurants signed up to the StreetSmart scheme in 15 different cities. As ever, we'll continue to 'keep local money local', as with all the cities. This means the £1 you donate in Leeds will go towards helping the homeless in Leeds. Click on the different locations on the map or pick a city from the links on the left to find a list of StreetSmart restaurants, StreetSmart contacts for the area, details of the local media partner, and the local charities we donated to last year. |
